Serves 6 to 8
Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter, melted
1/2 cup chopped celery
1/4 cup chopped green pepper 1/2 cup chopped green onions
2 cans of potato soup
1 can creamed corn
1 1/2 cup half and half
1 1/2 cup milk
2 bay leaves
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon white pepper
Dash hot sauce
1 pound crab meat
Salt and pepper
Chopped parsley and lemon slices
In a large sauté pan over high heat, add the butter. Sauté the celery, green pepper and onions until soft. Add the potato soup, corn, half and half, milk, bay leaves, thyme, garlic powder, pepper and hot sauce; cook the liquid reaches a simmer. Gently stir in crab meat and heat through. Discard the bay leaves and season to taste with salt and pepper. Garnish with parsley and lemon slices if desired
