Seafood Alfredo

Makes 6 cups

Ingredients:

1/4 pound unsalted butter
1 tablespoon minced garlic
1/4 cup white wine
2 cups heavy cream
Juice of 2 lemons
1 teaspoon hot sauce
1/2 pound lump crab meat
1/2 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 tablespoons fresh basil, chopped
1 cup asiago or parmesan cheese
Salt & white pepper

Melt the butter in medium sauce pan over medium high heat. Add the garlic and sauté for 1 to 2 minutes. Stir in the white wine, cream, lemon juice and hot sauce, let reduce. Add crab, shrimp, basil and cheese. Continue to cook, stirring continuously, until the shrimp is cooked through. Season to taste with salt and white pepper. Serve over pasta.
